What is a men’s health + wellbeing coach?
I work with men who want to take control of their lives, who would like to improve their physical, mental and emotional well-being. Plain and simple.
Why might I need a health + wellbeing coach?
Well for any number of a reasons but to name just a few…
Personalised guidance: There’s no generic one size fits all approach over here, it’s tailored advice and strategies that cater to your specific goals, needs, ability and lifestyle. Because guess what, it’s all about you.
Accountability: When it is actually you vs. you it can be very easy to check out of it. Having someone to hold you accountable with regular check-ins and discussions can be the push you need.
Expert knowledge: First and foremost I’m a registered dietitian, a healthcare practitioner who specialises in food and nutrition. Having achieved an additional qualification in personal training. My knowledge lies within various aspects of wellness, including physical fitness, nutrition, stress management, weight management, sleep, behaviour change and overall lifestyle choices. Within dietetics, it is expected that one undertakes continuous professional development to ensure one is up to date with the latest knowledge to deliver the best service to clients and maintain industry requirements. Basically it means I read - a lot!
Holistic Approach: As with all healthcare practitioners, my approach is holistic, meaning that it takes into consideration the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of your life. This comprehensive perspective can lead to more balanced and sustainable results.
Mindset and Motivation: Working with me means working to cultivate a more positive mindset. I’m extremely passionate and motivated about what I do. Hopefully whilst working together a little of that rubs off.
